The difference between cheap plastic and good plastic lies in the useful life and durability. Disposable items that are only used once (e.g. drink cups or disposable tableware) cannot be compared to a Carbox product that can be used for a long time with a 10-year guarantee.

As early as 1991/1992, Carbox received an award for environmentally conscious company management. Today, certified environmental management (EN/ISO14001) is as much a part of the company culture as audited energy management (EN/ISO5001).
All parts from production that are not part of the finished quality product are not waste, but recyclable material and are 100% recycled, i.e. processed into new products. Carbox's consumption of all other resources (e.g. electricity, water) is well below the average for German industry.
Carbox is aware of its responsibility for future generations and will continue to avoid unnecessary consumption, produce sustainably and protect the environment!
Responsibility to the environment
We want to take our responsibility to the environment even more into account, which is why our company's entire electricity requirements have been covered exclusively by renewable energies since February 2021.
The electricity provided comes 100% from hydropower plants and does not cause any climate-damaging CO2 emissions or radioactive waste during generation. The fulfilment of the above criteria is checked annually by TÜV-Nord.
It has always been important to us to operate in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. In addition to our 100% recyclable products, the switch to 100% green electricity is a further step towards making a contribution to sustainable and resource-saving use.
