Shipping and Payment
I. Shipping costs
We deliver free of charge within Germany.
For deliveries to Luxemburg applies:
- For goods that can be sent by parcel post due to their size (usually Carbox Floor, Carbox Form, Carbox MultiMat and Flexxy dog boxes, as well as all Car-Bags bags), the shipping costs are a flat rate of 4.90 EUR.
- Goods that have to be shipped by a forwarding agent free curbside due to their size (usually Carbox Classic and Carbox YourSize) are charged at a flat rate of 9.90 EUR.
For deliveries to Austria applies:
- For goods that can be sent by parcel post due to their size (usually Carbox Floor, Carbox Form, Carbox MultiMat and Flexxy dog boxes, as well as all Car-Bags bags), the shipping costs are a flat rate of 4.90 EUR.
- Goods that have to be shipped by a forwarding agent free curbside due to their size (usually Carbox Classic and Carbox YourSize) are charged at a flat rate of 19.90 EUR.
Delivery to other EU countries or to NON-EU countries is only on request. Please note that due to the size of our products, direct transport/shipping outside Germany is often associated with considerable additional costs.

II. Delivery times
All our goods are produced to order, subject to receipt of payment, and leave our premises in dependency on the numbers of orders received at any one time. The goods are delivered either by a forwarding agency free curbside (Carbox CLASSIC) or by DPD for Carbox FORM and Carbox EXTRAS.
Should there be a delay in delivery, we shall keep you advised about your order status via your personal account.
For international customers we can offer to have the goods delivered to you by an importer of the goods.
III. Delivery of the goods
The goods are then delivered in the respective following week, up to Wednesday. They are delivered either by a forwarding agency free curbside (Carbox CLASSIC) or by DPD (Carbox FORM and Carbox EXTRAS).
For delivery of Carbox CLASSIC products by a forwarding agency, the forwarding agency will phone you prior to delivery to arrange when exactly the delivery is to be made. (The delivery arrangements cannot be changed any more afterwards.)
IV. Current order status
In the “My account” area we keep you updated about the progress of your order. You also receive updates on the progress of your order by email.
V. Payment options
With Carbox you can pay either by prepayment, cash on delivery, credit card, direct debit, PayPal or “Sofortüberweisung” instant bank transfer.
Prepayment
If you choose payment in the form of prepayment we shall only send your product to you after your payment has been received in our account. Please note that this may result in your delivery being delayed because we only dispatch our products on Fridays.
Cash on delivery
For payment by cash on delivery we add an additional charge of EUR 6.00. No other taxes or costs are due.
Please note that a handling fee of EUR 2.00 is also due to Hellmann in addition for transferring the money collected for the cash on delivery amount. This handling fee does not appear on the invoice and will not be credited back to you in the event of your returning the goods.
Credit Card
To offer more security and service in our online-shop we use the 3D-Secure (with MasterCard Secure Code and Verified by Visa) process for the credit card payment.
Neither we nor your card issuing bank raise extra fee for the 3D-Secure process. This means that the use of 3D-Secure and the registration for the 3D-Secure process are completely without charge.
If you pay by credit card, the sum will be deducted from your account on dispatch of the goods.
Paypal
PayPal provides an easy, secure and quick way of paying for your purchases.
Paying with PayPal is this fast and easy:
After you have selected “PayPal” as your method of payment and have submitted your order to carbox.de, you will be automatically directed to the secure PayPal payment form. Please log in if you already have a PayPal account. If not, click on “Sign up” and follow the instructions.
Giropay
Giropay provides an easy, secure and quick way of paying for your purchases from carbox.de.
The giropay online method of payment was developed within the German banking system and includes major banks such as the Postbank, Sparkasse, Volksbank and Raiffeisenbank banks, which are trusted partners and guarantee the highest security standards.
Sofortüberweisung
The „Sofortüberweisung“ instant bank transfer system is an innovative method of payment which is certified by the German TÜV technical inspectorate and also has TÜV-tested transaction security. Sofortüberweisung was developed by Payment Network AG and is already used in a large number of online shops in Germany.
Make the most of the TÜV-tested transaction security and tremendous user-friendliness of the system. In principle you can use the instant bank transfer method of payment if you have an activated online bank account with PIN/TAN. Please note that some banks do not yet offer instant bank transfers.
